Grants and interest free loans for young people in the Northampton area
Sir Thomas White's Northampton Charity provides grants and interest free loans to young people to help with education or training or to set up or expand a business.
The charity was founded back in 1542 due to the generosity of a Tudor businessman, Sir Thomas White, who left investments of land and assets the proceeds of which are distributed each year to the Sir Thomas White's Charities and to the Merchant Taylors in London.
The money provided by the charity is specifically aimed at helping young people who lack the funds to be able to make the best of themselves either through education or training or by establishing themselves in work or through setting up a business.
